This is sort of simple, but for some reason I really felt like mentioning it *somewhere* other than in my own head.
I respect people a tiny bit less when they are religious. This includes strangers and friends. I can be good friends with religious people (most of my friends are), but there's always a part of me that is disappointed when they bring up their god.

I think I know kind of what you mean. I'd say I'm more agnostic than atheist, but I feel a little twinge of disappointment sometimes too.
Like I was at an awards dinner, and a woman who received an award gave a great speech, seemed very positive, interesting, and a great role model. And then she thanked god for the award. Before she thanked her husband or anyone else, and she went on for awhile about god. *sigh*
